About Eureka, MO - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Eureka is located on the southwestern corridor of St. Louis country on I-44 between the towns of St. Louis and Pacific.  A short twenty minute drive from Eureka will get you to the city of St. Louis.  Around 10,200 residents call this beautiful town home today.  It was founded in 1858 when the Pacific Railroad construction was in progress here.  The town got its name from railroad workers who saw the flat land with little work to be done to clear it and said “Eureka!” In Greek, the word Eureka means “I have found it.

This small town is mostly known for its adventure park, Six Flags.  The park opened originally in 1971 under the name Six Flags Mid-America and it was the last park built under the Six Flags name.  Four of the parks roller coasters are named in the top ten in the Roller Coaster Data Base.  The Hurricane Water Park is located inside Six Flags and includes an impressive variety of slides for every member of the family.  Visiting Six Flags is a perfect way for adventure enthusiasts to spend the day in Eureka.

Hidden Valley Ski Resort is also located in Eureka and provides residents and visitors to the area with a variety of snow filled activities.  You can head straight to the slopes, stop at the lodge for a lesson or take a turn on the Polar Plunge tubing hill. Whichever option you chose, a day at this resort is a day well spent.

After a long day on the slopes, residents here in Eureka look forward to warming up in the evening at home.  A well maintained furnace makes that happen during the three or so months a year when temperatures can fall below freezing here.  The sunny summer months make for a perfect day at the water park and having a cool home to retreat to a must here in Eureka.  Humidity and temperatures can both sail above 90 in the summer months.

Whether you are here in the summer or the winter, this town has something fun waiting for you!
